On Friday, July 10, Jess assisted artist David Schafer at a sound/performance event. The event, "Home Listening" was curated by Bret Schneider for Mildred's Lane, in Scranton, PA. Six sound artists were asked to perform their material in various outdoor sites around the grounds of Mildred's Lane for a night of noise. Listeners were to walk around the grounds with flashlights visiting the array of sound stations, while enjoying the mixing and overlapping of the divergent sounds.
Jess played selections from the upcoming debut EP, "Dolls Play Loud" by MeKaniKdolls before and after Schafer's noise set. Here's a photo of Jess making noise in the woods :)
